Beam

For agencies and service businesses

Real estate texting that stays with your team

Real estate teams can use Beam to answer property inquiries and coordinate showings from a dedicated business line. Eligible iPhone contacts receive iMessage, supported Android contacts receive RCS, and other reachable contacts use configured SMS fallback.

Beam sends from dedicated business numbers. Beam is not affiliated with Apple.

Keep the showing conversation in one place

An interested buyer asks whether a property is available. A teammate answers the question, checks the actual calendar and agrees on a showing time. If another agent covers the appointment, conversation assignment gives that person the thread instead of a forwarded screenshot.

For agents and teams handling wanted inquiries

This fits agents, broker teams and agencies supporting property follow-up in GoHighLevel. It is not a listing database, transaction management system or reason to message a purchased list. Keep property facts and appointment availability in the source system and check them before replying.

Plan the property follow-up

  1. Capture the property reference and what the prospect asked. Record the contact source and texting permission.
  2. Assign one owner for the next reply and verify the showing slot before confirming it.
  3. Stop the reminder sequence when the appointment changes or the contact replies. Test those conditions in your CRM workflow.
  4. Review failed sends and route time-sensitive changes to a person.

Connect the business line and test the handoff

Beam sends from real Apple and Android devices: iMessage for eligible iPhones, RCS for supported Android phones, and SMS fallback for other reachable recipients. SMS fallback remains subject to applicable carrier A2P requirements. After a confirmed failed iMessage, fallback is a workspace setting; uncertain delivery does not trigger an automatic resend.

  1. Activate a client workspace and confirm its assigned business line. Connect the correct GoHighLevel location and give the team access.
  2. Choose a specific, wanted conversation and record the consent source. Assign someone to answer replies and handle opt-outs.
  3. Use the documented Custom Webhook for workflow sends. The regular GoHighLevel Send SMS action keeps its default provider.
  4. Test with contacts you control: send, reply, human takeover, opt-out and a failed delivery. Check the recorded channel and outcome before expanding.

Review business iMessage, GoHighLevel CRM messaging and related team use cases to plan your rollout.

Before you connect

Questions before you connect

Can real estate agents send iMessage from a business number?

Yes. Beam sends iMessage from an assigned business number when the line and recipient support it. Team members answer in a shared workspace instead of making the conversation depend on a personal phone.

Will every customer receive an iMessage?

No. iMessage needs an eligible recipient and capable line. RCS depends on Android phone and carrier support; SMS fallback depends on line configuration and applicable carrier requirements.

Does queued mean delivered?

No. Queued means accepted for sending. Check delivery events or message status before treating a message as delivered. An uncertain iMessage outcome is not automatically resent as SMS.
