For agencies and service businesses
Outbound texting with room for replies
Beam supports outbound texting, including mass outbound when budget allows, across iMessage, RCS and SMS. For a mass texting service, plan the audience, available sending capacity and reply handling together. A larger audience is not a promise of unlimited or instant delivery.
Beam sends from dedicated business numbers. Beam is not affiliated with Apple.
Choose the outbound workflow
| Capability | How to use it |
|---|---|
| One follow-up | Send after an appointment request, conversation or call. |
| Mass outbound | Confirm budget and sending capacity with Beam before planning a larger audience. |
| iMessage and RCS | Use rich messaging where the recipient and assigned line support it. |
| SMS fallback | Evaluate SMS reach and channel requirements for other recipients. |
| Two way sync | Make incoming replies part of the CRM workflow, with a clear reply owner. |
Evaluate a mass texting or bulk SMS service
If you are evaluating a bulk SMS service, first decide whether you need SMS alone or a conversation that can use iMessage and RCS too. Beam supports all three channels. Confirm the actual route for the audience instead of assuming every contact receives the same type of message.
Review RCS business messaging and fallback, and use the two way CRM sync guide to plan who handles replies.
Run a small outbound pilot
- Choose one follow-up purpose and contacts who have agreed to receive it.
- Confirm the audience size, budget and assigned-line capacity with Beam. This guide does not publish a mass sending limit.
- Send to a test contact, inspect delivery and reply from the receiving device.
- Check the CRM record, opt-out handling and teammate handoff.
- Expand only after the pilot has established the workflow and capacity.
Follow the GoHighLevel workflow guide for CRM sends. For call follow-ups, see FaceTime Audio for business.
Connect an agent to the workflow
Beam provides MCP and OpenAPI for authorized AI agents. Use the iMessage MCP guide to plan read, draft and send permissions. Review the intended audience before granting an agent permission to send.
